Chef Solutions Chunky Tomato Pasta Sauce brings you original Sicilian flavour simmered over charcoal, made with the finest hand picked tomatoes, flavoured with garlic and basil.
Mother sauce for Italian Kitchen Pantries. A combination of sauce with diverse applications. Sauce may be used as pasta, pizza, braising sauce and salsas.
Directions for Use
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté little finely chopped garlic, onion add CS tomato sauce, bring it to a boil, toss along the pasta
- Finish with shredded basil and parmesan cheese for a true Italian experience.
- Place CS chunky tomato sauce along with 30 gms of sugar, 50 ml extra virgin olive oil for every litre of sauce and blend it to a fine puree.
- Transfer it into a neat container and use it as and when required.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, sauté brunoise of onion, garlic, carrot, celery, leeks add CS chunky tomato sauce bring it to a boil.
- Add 100 ml of full bodied red wine for every 1 litre of CS chunky tomato sauce and add 400ml of demi glace sauce. Bring it to a boil and reserve.
- At the time of service, cook the sauce along with vegetables or meat of your choice, adjust the seasoning if required, and serve hot.
- Blend the sauce to a fine puree.
- Bring it a boil, adjust the consistency by adding a stock. Finish the soup with cream and butter and serve hot.
- Garnish with bread croutons.
