Barbeque chicken Poutine

This twist on the humble French fries will surely be a game day favorite for a grueling cricket or football match with your friends and family. Combining the oriental classic with this ultimate trio of chicken, potato, and cheese, it’s the perfect accompaniment for a chilled beer or beverage of your choice.

  • French Fries 100gms
  • Basil (Sweet) 10gm
  • Mozarella (Fresh) 50gm
  • Garlic chopped 10gms
  • Garlic chopped 10gms
  • White oil 350ml
  • Ginger Julienne 5gms
  • Red Chili 10gms

Steps Involved in Cooking:

  • 1 .Set up a deep fat fryer or a heavy bottom pan with 330ml of oil for frying the fries. The quantity of the oil may be altered to suit your equipment or portion size. Maintain a temperature of 190ËšC.
  • 2 .In a separate clean pan, heat 10ml of oil, add garlic and ginger. Cook till soft and the garlic is a little golden. Simmer down to a medium flame and add the BBQ sauce. Add a dash of water if necessary.
  • 3 .When the sauce comes to a bubbling point, add 5gms of chopped basil and 10gms of chopped chili. Take of the heat and rest aside.
  • 4 .Cut chicken breast into small cubes of preferred choice and sauté in a separate pan with 10ml of oil and a pinch of seasoning. Make sure the edges of the cube are golden and crispy.
  • 5 .For plating; deep fry your French fries, drain off excess oil on kitchen tissue and heap the fries in a flat serving bowl. Next toss the chicken cubes in the BBQ sauce on high flame till all the sauce is coated on the chicken pieces, and spread the chicken on top of the fries. Next break the mozzarella by hand and spread the chunks on the heap of chicken loaded fries evenly.
  • 6 .For garnishing tear 5 gms of basil by hand and scatter on top randomly. Bon appetite
