- 1⁄4 cup - refined flour
- 1 tbs - green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tbs - ginger, grated
- 1 tbs - garlic grated
- 1 tsp - red chilli powder
- ½ tsp - white pepper powder
- 1 ½ tbs - lemon juice
- A pinch - baking soda
- Salt - to taste
- Water – as required
- Oil - for deep frying
- 10-12 nos. - cauliflower florets (keep the stems long)
Steps Involved in Cooking:
- 1 .Wash the florets and leave aside to drain or pat dry
- 2 .Mix all the ingredients except the last two with sufficient water to make a slightly thick Batter
- 3 .Heat the oil and when hot enough dip the florets in the batter and deep fry for about 5- 7mins on medium flame till crisp
- 4 .Drain well and serve hot with a sweet and sour sauce.
